“Paradise on the Moon”

I swear I just moved a little too far

Maybe redirect your obsession, the palace under the stars

We’ve done the impossible for sure

Many minds can only carry one at a time so you ask me, who am I, to believe romance was the cure

You understand my forgiveness

Beyond the city, under gray skies

The absence of a warm touch, while the universe sings the same lullabies

The torment of living forever

To underestimate my own heart and maybe get these things together

I’m not perfect, while imperfection lives freely, safe from absurd weather

Fountains of tears, those delicate years we had, dreaming under the planets while thinking about forever…

Give me Orion’s Belt so that we may keep our sanity well put together

Another fallen angel, hidden behind closed doors

Another pure case of remote feelings, scattered across cracked glass on marble floors
