“Eve”

In the end, I’m wrapped in clouds, in which your arms revealed with no disguise

Angelic in song, the aroma of winter’s end is nearby

A promise that spring waits just beyond the veil

Our days are numbered but I could never forget our first one

Inside the Devil’s eye

I see eagerness, mixed with beauty that reigns above all that is in sight

What if the world breaks open

Will love be able to mend its ruin?…

Am I lost without you?

Beneath the moonlight, I had left poems for you in the garden that night

Sorrow’s last flickering bit of hope

Prove to me that we can continue with the same moral compass as before

Enthrall me, undo me, as I succumb to Mother Nature more and more

The forest whispers grace and balance

Why did we leave it all to chance?

What caused the drought?

Who brought the malice?

Are you a mere challenge, Eve?

Like the gravestone of my future, for which I cannot see

I cannot bear to part with our perilous alchemy

The Heavens will collapse upon your shoulders

As the weather begins to pull down wind, abiding the times you couldn’t resist to fall onto me

My treacherous decree

My loyal standard, supervising the flower that isn’t rooted by choice but given the propaganda that you carry subconsciously

Yes, this absolves you but…

Does the world’s forgiveness extend to me?
